Launch of the first Amen Annual Report 2009

Amen is delighted to announce the launch of their first ever Annual Report on Friday 3rd September at 11.00am, in their office in Navan.

The 2009 Annual Report is the first of its kind and provides an overview of the different types of services provided to clients by Amen.

The report details the types and incidents of abuse disclosed by clients, it also includes statistics on the number and types of contacts to the service.

The launch of the first Annual Report coincides with the unveiling of the new counselling room. The counselling room is situated in the Amen office and will offer clients a calm and relaxing atmosphere to come and speak with the counsellor or to a support worker.

Since the establishment of Amen in 1997, the organisation has worked tirelessly to provide male victims of domestic abuse with the best service for their needs. With the new counselling room clients have a more secure and supportive environment in which to explore feelings and emotions about their past and present personal situations.

Amen would like to invite members of the press and photographers to the launch of the 2009 Annual Report.
