Are there fees for your services?

Fees apply to certain services, you can call our confidential helpline on (046) 902 3718 or email us at info@amen.ie for information on our fees.

Do I need to make an appointment for a one to one meeting?

One to one visitors usually have appointments but drop in visitors are welcome.

What do I do if I am worried about someone but not receiving abuse myself?

Our one to one sessions are also available for family members who also need support or further information. You can also call our confidential helpline, from there we can inform or advise you on what are the best options for your friend or relation.

How long can I use your service?

Our services are available for as long as you need them.

Can someone find out that I’ve contacted you?

No our service is completely confidential. We understand it can be hard to come forward about abuse so we put your safety first. However Amen Support Services complies with Children’s First Guidelines in relation to the protection and welfare of children. If you disclose information in relation to the possibility of you harming yourself or others, then confidentiality can be waived. A support worker will discuss the limitations of confidentiality if the situation arises.

Can I use your service even if I don’t want to leave my partner?

Yes our service is available to any men who are suffering from abuse.

Can I use your service if I have already left my partner?

Yes we offer ongoing support along with information and assistance for any upcoming court cases you may have.

What can I do if I can’t get to your office?

Outreach Clinic is available in Dolphin House, Family Law Courts, East Essex Street, Dublin 2, on a weekly basis.
